Pots & Petals began in 2009 when Lindsay Rader was given the opportunity to plant the annual flower display at a popular Dillon, CO restaurant. A greenhouse popped up and a business was born!

With a degree in Landscape Design from Kansas State University, Lindsay found her way to Summit County, Colorado and settled in. There, she spent two summers at Keystone studying local plant material and learning valuable lessons from Ina Gillis, a Summit County Pioneer. Ina gave Lindsay a tip that a local restaurant owner was looking for someone to maintain his annual patio pots.  The next spring, Lindsay convinced Doug Pierce of Arapahoe Cafe into keeping his business local by letting her design his patio flowers herself.

As the seasons grew on, so did Pots & Petals. One greenhouse turned into two, the two got bigger, then the town came knocking. But with limitations come bigger dreams. So in 2013, Lindsay expanded her artistic scope to include fresh cut flowers. Now based out of Alpine Earth Center, Pots & Petal's Floral Studio is OPEN for business!
